WEICON Zinc Spray is TÜV-tested and provides permanent cathodic corrosion protection to all metal surfaces. It forms a fast-drying, firmly adhering protective layer of microfine zinc flakes. In a salt spray test according to DIN EN ISO 9227, metal parts coated with WEICON Zinc Spray showed no signs of corrosion, even after more than 1,050 hours. The zinc flakes form a resistant protective layer, even against extreme weather and environmental influences. WEICON Zinc Spray therefore meets higher requirements than those required by DIN EN ISO 1461. WEICON Zinc Spray can be used as a high-quality rust protection primer, for coating welds and drilled holes, as a conductive intermediate layer in spot welding, and wherever metal needs to be protected from corrosion.
